Emma's Rose

Finally, I have completed the "Emma's Rose" on the last day of March.
I was not satisfied the face of Emma.. because she was not smiling and has got ugly nose in it.
I did not like my finishing on her face, that reminded me more more practicing and stitching.
I really found stitching was not coloring, so have to practice to draw with threads.
It will not be easy, so my challenge will be continued.....

Next my project:
Because I won the back number of French Stitching magazine "DE FIL EN AIGUILLE" on eBay -
DE FIL EN AIGUILLE has discontinued already, I really was disappointed when I heard that news.
I was so lucky to find this magazine, and that issued January 2009, and said
"LE STYLE ANGLAIS" (English Style)
It has got 30 creations (said "made in England") lol
Really like Cath Kidston spiritual items, very much English- ish!! lol

Of course, I was inspired by some "English style" tea time charts, so I will combine some tea cups and
teapot design in "French style":

Emma has been done and still need to stitch the blue dressed doll and Bird's cage only.
And some back stitches.
Hope I could have done it in March!
Thinking about framing already.

I have finished part III in this weekend, because I have been two days off for children's half term holiday.
Weather was not permitting to go out so we had to stay at home, playing Wii and other things.......

I kept doing stitching, watch "HOUSE" season 2 (DVD), play Wii (Sports Resort), then stitching.

Good half term! ^^;

I really am keen to see the frame, so very concentrated to stitch it.

Usually, I did put some additional material like beads at finishing touch, however I could not resist to try to put on some beads on it... I am using Mill Hill Seeds Beads on her necklace. That was lovely!

+++ Candles (photo)!

I found she left a comment at my Candle post, that was she wanted to quote my photo on her blog. I was so surprised and pleased and told her "of course!!" then yesterday I have found the post "Des photos, des photos, des photos…".

I shouted to my hubby! "it's my photo in French blog!!!!!!!!!!"
however he was not understanding my excitement, yet, but he replied
"can you read French?? I wonder...."

I told him "Dir, of course, I know your French is better than mine, that's why I asked you to read!"

I was just falling love with this little girl and found some threads in my sawing box and ordered some beads!
Looking forward to stitch the girl and cat!

+++ Kreuzstich (GERMAN) books

I have received two cross stitch charts book in this week. When I was searching some new charts in the net, I found these at Japanese magazine shop site mag-mart. English or other language magazine (or books) are very expensive in Japan, but I think I shall order at Amazons (UK, FR, DE).
Then I ordered a week ago. Of course I can not read GERMAN, but I can read the "CHART" ;-> and was wondering if there is lots GERMAN words in the book, my invest will be wasting my money....
Fortunately, these ones are all charts!!

+++ Lo How Rose (4)

Finally, I have completed Lo How Rose sampler!!! yes, I have done it last year,
even I could not finish until 25 December....
Anyway, I could think about next project.....

Maybe Mary Rose, Mary Wignham, or EMS Advent, it is hard to pick up.
