Here it was my progress for the 5th week, Quaker a 6 Mains.
It was very hard to make a time last week, because I have been very busy.
A small progress but almost half way through!

+++ Handmade Lampshade

The stand lamp we had that's shade has been damaged. I have been looking for new shade but I could not find one for my taste. Then I decided to make it by myself. I was using Amy Butler's Midwest modern, and that was my favorite pattern 'martini'.

That was not so hard to make it, so I want to make another shade, and also I would chose from Amy Butler's pattern, of course.
My sons told me,
'mum, somebody can buy it!'

'mmm, I should think about selling it?'

+++ Quaker a 6 Mains

This was my Quaker a 6 Mains progress (week 2), and has been posted to Quaker Inspired also.
You could read that I've just started to use plastic square frame for this project, I found this was really easy to handle it. then was so surprised because I thought wooden hoop was the best, but plastic one was very easy to hold and very fabric adjustable.

++++++

And I've got another surprise....
I was really lucky last night, I finally finally, had ordered (Better Homes and Gardens) A Cross-Stitch Christmas: Celebrations in Stitches at Amazon.com, only $3.99!!
I have been keen to have it because I really love and want to have the chart "Lo how rose (this link was Leah's work). When I found this was $3.99, I could not resist it to order, because I found that ebay priced around $100 before, then I rang my friend [J] to ask her to receive it for me.
I hope the chart in the book I bought, was no damage...
I am really looking forward to see that!
Many thanks, J-chan!

+++ Quaker Inspired

I was excited to join theQuaker Inspired last week, and just posted my introduction because I finally, yes, finally has started "Quaker a 6 Mains" that [T-chan] told me the best free quaker chart.
This is my first Quaker sampler.
After I joined the Quaker Inspired, I was looking around the other members' blog and met many things!! Yesterday, I found the
Blacksheep's bit of the Web (Edgar's blog who is the member), he has nowBlogoversary Secret Prize' Drawing, of course I put my comment to entry. And also I was so disappointed that I missed other his draw, because he had a Lo Rose Book Drawing... Yes, that was I really really want to have the chart by Brightneedles design.
But, never mind, I have a next chance, I hope.
